If your child is exhibiting any of the classical symptoms of ADHD such as difficulty concentrating, trouble sitting still, or problems controlling their behavior you should take them to see the doctor right away. Treatment for ADHD can be very helpful and the earlier that treatment is started, the sooner the child can begin to focus and be more successful at school, home, and play. The less time that a child spends struggling in school, the more likely they are to grow into well adjusted adults.
