Mono Guide - How can I prevent mono?

Image for mono

It is very difficult to prevent mono because people are contagious for a long time before and after they have symptoms of mono and the virus can live outside of the body for several hours. Also, some people may be infected with EBV and never even know it, making it possible for them to spread it to others. People who have been exposed to EBV long ago may also be able to spread the virus in some cases.
